Mes activités de recherche se concentrent sur la caractérisation des traits tempéramentaux (c’est-à-dire des grandes tendances comportementales) qui déterminent les différences entre individus dans leur capacité à plus ou moins bien s’ajuster à leur environnement. Je cherche en particulier à mettre en évidence comment des traits tels que l’apathie (le manque de motivation) ou l’impulsivité et les déficits d’inhibition, s’inscrivent dans différents domaines comportementaux (alimentaire, moteur) et peuvent être prédits par des mesures d’imagerie cérébrale (IRM). Mon travail avec l’équipe DOCC s’articule autour de deux objectifs : 1/ mieux comprendre comment les traits d’apathie, impulsivité et « craving » s’inscrivent dans la manière de réagir à notre environnement olfactif ; 2/ développer de nouveaux marqueurs de ces traits en réponse à divers odorants pour la prédiction des phénotypes alimentaires dans différentes populations (différents âges, populations cliniques avec troubles du comportement alimentaire…).
En parallèle de mes travaux de recherche, je dispense des enseignements de méthodologie et de psychologie différentielle aux étudiants de l’Université Bourgogne Europe.
