Activities

Research theme
  • Research: I joined the CSGA as a CNRS senior scientific officer in biology in 2004. During my postdoctoral years, I was interested in the molecular biology and biochemistry of membrane proteins (ion channels, receptors) applied to the identification of components involved in signal transduction. At CSGA, I worked on the biochemistry of molecular players in taste and olfaction. I have also been involved more recently in the study of the central detection mechanisms of glucose and some sweeteners in the hypothalamus. In July 2024, I joined the Eye & Nutrition team, where I work on the role of lipids in retinal homeostasis and on the establishment of complex in vitro culture models of retinal cells.
  • Expertise: Molecular biology (qPCR, microgenomics), Biochemistry (WB, CoIP, membrane protein purification), Biophysics (live cells calcium imaging), Cellular biology (primary neuronal cultures, transfection), Data Mining
  • Others: Radiosafety officer
