Research theme

As part of the ConsoTextPlorer project, my PhD project aims to study consumers motivations, perceptions, and intentions regarding food using natural language and implicit measures. The goal is to go beyond the limitations of traditional questionnaires in order to collect richer data that are more representative of actual behaviour.
The developed experimental setup will combine semi-structured interviews and implicit measurements, and will also serve as the basis for a prototype conversational agent capable of simulating these interviews. This approach will make it possible to identify the main criteria influencing food acceptability and to model this knowledge in a structured form.
This project will hopefully lead to a better understanding of the barriers and drivers for adopting healthier and more sustainable products and support innovation in the agri-food industry.
