Research theme
I am a researcher in behavioural neuroscience I am interested in the relationship between perceptual mechanisms and potential changes in eating behavior in specific populations (eating disorders, mood disorders, etc.), using neuroimaging techniques.
During my PhD in behavioural neuroscience at the NuMeCan Institute (Rennes), I studied the relationship between cognitive control and emotional overeating, combining behavioural measures obtained through questionnaires and fNIRS (functional near-infrared spectroscopy) neurofeedback trials, with the aim of strengthening the brain networks underlying cognitive control (assessed by functional MRI). I then completed my first postdoctoral fellowship at the CSGA, focusing on the study of the mechanisms involved in flavor perception.
I am currently expanding my research to gain a more systemic understanding of how food is perceived, particularly focusing on the link between sensory perception and cognitive control mechanisms, with the aim of identifying tools and intervention strategies to improve eating behaviour.
Key words
