Research theme

After several years studying the function of ABCD1-3 fatty acid transporters, localized in the peroxisome membrane, and the consequences of their dysfunction in neurodegenerative diseases of peroxisomal origin, I joined the NeuroFeed team in 2024.
Within this team, I am involved in projects aimed at understanding the neurological basis of eating behavior, in particular by studying the melanocortin system in the context of a high-fat diet. The aim of this in vivo work in mice is to open up perspectives for the prevention and treatment of pathological eating behaviors such as obesity in humans.
As biochemist, I bring my technical expertise in molecular and cellular biology to in vivo and in vitro studies in mice. I train and scientifically co-supervise BTS/BUT, Licence, Master and PhD students on projects.
