         To fight excessive consumption and waste of batteries, the CSGA is taking advantage of the collective action for sustainable development that has just arrived at the INRAE BFC center: the “Régencharge” project funded by the INRAE's Societal Responsibilities actions.

The INRAE buildings, including the one housing the CSGA teams, are all equipped with a unit for testing and regenerating “non-rechargeable” AA and AAA alkaline batteries. This tool, still under development, will enable the CSGA to monitor battery waste, decrease it and find solutions to reduce their use.

                At the end of 2024, a book -in French- was published on the ecological commitment of certain researchers. Book references
